Living costume (pt.2)

So I have started my living costume project.

For this I am going to use some muslin fabric and create a double layered basic bodice/skirt pattern, sew it together and then place seeds in the gap between the layers. Then I will water the dress and hope that something comes out of it?

I am not going to lie I am compltely modelling this off those grass head things I used to make as a child with old socks and things like that.

Lets just wait and see what happens, but hopefully the dress will grow some grass roots and potentially, fingers crossed, some sort of leafy plant or flower.

I really hope this works, if it does, I would like to make this full scale!
