Project Brief:

Choose a geographical location, time period and style reference for a production of Shakespeare's King Lear.

For this project, our group decided that we would choose to set the piece in a music festival in the late 1900's (around 1980 - 1990) and the Actors,  playing the  characters of the Fool and Kent, would be dressed in festival wear.

To portray this as clearly as possible, I decided to use UV reactive tape on the ponchos, and steamed the inside of the ponchos before the actors went on stage. When the 'Storm scene' occured, he lights changed and the tape reflected the logo of the band they were seeing - The Storm!
